As a Solution Architect (m/f/d) in the field of technical sales you act as a technical leader, sharing your knowledge about software architectures with the teams and guide them through the complete sales process to perform the work to completion. You are responsible for designing solutions that meet customers' technical requirements and business needs. In sales opportunities, you will assist from the technical perspective, understanding customer needs and translating them into compelling solutions.

  • You will be defining best practices in the evaluation and selection and/or development of software components and hardware requirements of the applications and data
  • Also in application development you evaluate and select appropriate development methods, development processes, best practices and tools
  • You will act as a technical consultant to our customers, using your in-depth knowledge and strong awareness of customer requirements to improve the customer experience.
  • You represent the customer's interest internally and ensure that the teams provide the software services, architecture and infrastructure for a solution that meets the customer requirements

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics
  • 3-5 years professional experience as a Solution or Software Architect in Technical Sales
  • You have a strong technical background regarding cloud technologies and architectures (e.g. Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, microservices architecture, etc.)
  • You are able to design, analyze and understand complex software solutions using container and serverless technologies
  • You are experienced with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) as well as with software systems and data design
  • Solid understanding of platform business models
  • Experience with agile development methods and modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Go, .Net, Java etc.)
  • Experience in a customer-oriented role and understanding of existing business and IT architectures (preferably in the financial industry)
  • Ability to develop and implement a strategic technological vision for the knowis product portfolio by identifying and implementing technology trends that will ensure the future success of the product portfolio
  • Proactive mindset that enables you to constantly look for ways to improve processes, challenge conventional practices and apply new methods
  • Problem solving ability, determination and results-oriented approach
  • Ability to plan and organize, high level of commitment, flexibility and independence
  • German and English language skills required (both spoken and written)
  • Very good presentation and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
