As Product Marketing Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for developing effective communication and marketing plans for the knowis product portfolio. You know what to tell the world about our software products and solutions to achieve maximum impact. You set the base product messaging and work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Offering Management to translate product features and capabilities into an inspiring product positioning, messaging, and value proposition.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you also have a deep understanding of market and technology trends and competitive space. In combination with your product knowledge, this helps you to foresee threats and opportunities, and influence our product positioning accordingly. You continuously research and listen to customer needs, experiences and market trends.

Your Role

  • You develop comprehensive marketing plans for the Sales and Marketing teams
  • You define the product messaging, translating product capabilities and features into competitive value proposition messages
  • You create training materials, sales tools, and sales collaterals that facilitate the selling process, including customer presentations, case studies, videos, and blog posts
  • You understand and leverage social media tools to increase awareness and boost sales
  • You support Sales at customer presentations, and present and speak about our products yourself to both external and internal audiences
  • You understand competition
  • You obtain insights into our customers' usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data

Your Profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field (master’s degree preferred) with significant work experience
  • You have product marketing experience in the enterprise software or SaaS space
  • You bring knowledge of cloud technologies and the software market
  • You have gained experience using marketing tools for research, planning, automation, and management
  • Your research skills, such as analysis of data, surveys, and customer interviews, help you gain insight into customer needs and experiences
  • You are up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing
  • If you are experienced in marketing campaign management, this is a plus
  • You are a team player with a positive can-do attitude and problem-solving capability
  • You have the ability to successfully cooperate with other teams within the company, provide feedback to Product Management on customer needs and support sales and marketing initiatives
  • Your flexible mindset, planning and organizational skills, high level of dedication, flexibility, and independence enable you to work on multiple planned and on-demand tasks in parallel
  • You have strong presentation and communication skills in German and English
  • You are willing to travel (up to 30%)
