As a Financial Accounting Specialist (m/f/d), you are responsible for the organization of the Finance department, driving forward the digitization of financial accounting. You support the day-to-day accounting business and ensure that all tasks are completed correctly and on time. In close cooperation with your team, you develop the division's idea management and thus continuously improve the processes and structures of financial accounting. In addition, you are a qualified contact person within our customer projects and are responsible for the coordination, monitoring and accounting of these projects.

Your Role

  • You are responsible for the organization of the Finance department and coordinate the continuing digitization of financial accounting
  • You ensure the proper and timely processing of all accounting tasks and take responsibility for auditing
  • You are responsible for the issuing of the monthly financial accounts and the preparation of the annual financial accounts
  • You issue the advance VAT returns
  • You support the internal and external reporting processes
  • You assist in the annual corporate planning as well as the preparation of monthly forecasts
  • You take over the coordination, budget monitoring and accounting of our customer projects
  • You analyze economic and legal issues and you elaborate decision papers

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed a commercial training program and have several years of professional experience in financial accounting
  • You are very proficient in MS Office applications, in particular Excel skills are mandatory
  • You enjoy working independently and have high quality standards
  • You have a very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
