As Business Development Manager (m/f/d) you are a key player in our market development in D-A-CH. Your task is to secure the pipeline for our banking technology platform isfinancial based on the go-to-market strategy, and to generate qualified opportunities for our account management. Based on a constant analysis of market demand, trends as well as "voice & tone" of the influencers in the market, the creation and use of suitable targeting concepts in the defined target market is a central task. Based on relevant use cases, you illustrate the fit of the platform to our target persona for their digital roadmap and thus generate validated opportunities. With the same goal in mind, you are in a constant exchange with potential partners (e.g. specialist consultancies) regarding business opportunities, and you evaluate and initiate joint market development activities. In addition, it is your task to define the technical requirements for demo assets together with an SME (bank expert).

Your Role

  • You analyze domain-specific key topics and technical trends in the industry, taking into consideration the "voice and tone" of key influencers (e.g., management consultancies)
  • You detail and implement measures to build a strong data-driven pipeline and convert it into opportunities
  • You create and develop the respective output: Targeting concepts, level 0/level 1 decks
  • Close collaboration with market development team members:
    • with Marketing specialists to deliver use cases and banking content
    • with Tech Sales to ensure inspiring demos that position and differentiate the software from the start
    • with Account Managers to hand over generated opportunities or to support wallet expansion with existing customers through (new) use cases
  • Continuous management and monitoring of initiatives via reports and dashboards in HubSpot

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position or in the area of (in-house) consulting for financial services
  • Expertise in banking/financial services as well as a high level of abstraction skills and output orientation
  • Proven track-record in measurable pipeline generation and experience in methodical evaluation of use cases and business approaches
  • Understanding of success criteria in selling cloud/SaaS solutions, as well as technical affinity and willingness to familiarize yourself with our isfinancial platform
  • Passion for a growing, medium-sized company
  • Knowledge and network in the banking market D-A-CH is a plus
  • German is your native language and you are business fluent in written and spoken English
