"Europe's Business Festival for Innovation and Digitization" – with this new concept, the world's largest IT trade fair this year welcomes its visitors to the exhibition grounds in Hanover. From June 11th to 15th 2018, exhibitors from all over the world will present new products in seven exhibition halls and provide information on topics such as smart mobility, artificial intelligence, blockchain or robotics. The three elements 'trade fair', 'conference' and 'networking event' provide the framework for exciting discussions, interesting conference presentations and successful business. As a customer and business partner of IBM, knowis AG will also be present at this year's CeBIT and demonstrate the potential of linked information in the banking sector with an innovative mobility concept.
Banks manage verified and trusted information about their customers. By linking information in a specific way, this data can be used as proof of identity via secure interfaces and for automated transactions.
Using GO2BANK as an example, knowis will present in a live demo how bank customers can be enabled to make car or bicycle rentals, ticket purchases etc. quickly and securely via their personal bank account – without having to register themselves at the mobility provider plattforms or submit personal data. Available vehicles can be found, booked and paid for, or the ticket for public transport can be purchased directly via the bank's smartphone app. The advantage for the customer: The transfer of user and payment data to many different provider platforms is no longer necessary and different providers can be compared on one platform.
The use case is also addressed, for example, to companies that want to make urban mobility available to their employees without building up their own vehicle fleets.
On the one hand, banks can build up an attractive ecosystem with alliance partners; on the other hand, the mobility providers can reach customers they would not reach via their own network.
